Young Lady and Gentleman
Young Lady and Gentleman is a South Korean television series starring Ji Hyun-woo, Lee Se-hee and Cha Hwa-yeon. The weekend drama, directed by Shin Chang-seok, follows Lee Yong-gook, a widower with three children and a live-in tutor for his children, Park Dan-dan, whom he develops feelings for. It debuted on KBS2 on September 25, 2021, and ran for 52 episodes every Saturday and Sunday at 19:55 (KST) until March 27, 2022. In this film, Kim Young-ok plays Jin Dal-rae, who is 80 years old, mother of Cha Yeon-sil and Cha Gun, and grandmother of Dae-beom, Dan-dan and Mi-rim.
At the 2021 KBS Drama Awards, the series won seven awards, including the Grand Prize (Daesang) for Ji Hyun-woo and the Best Couple Award for him and Lee Se-hee. According to Nielsen Korea, the 48th episode, which aired on March 13, 2022, had a national average viewership of 38.2 percent, with 6.9 million viewers tuning in. The series was ranked third among the 'Top 50 series per nationwide viewers in Korea' as of March 28, 2022.
