Zac Efron

Zac Efron is an American actor, is also one of the most famous Hollywood actors. He began acting professionally in the early 2000s and rose to prominence as a teen idol in the late 2000s for his leading role as Troy Bolton in the High School Musical trilogy (2006–2008).

Early in the new millennium, Efron made his acting debut in cameo appearances on a number of TV shows, including Firefly, ER, and The Guardian. He started making appearances as a recurrent character in Summerland's debut season on the WB in 2004. He was elevated to the main cast for the 2005 second season of the program. Additionally, he made appearances in a few movies, such as Miracle Run (2004), a Lifetime television movie for which he was nominated for a Young Artist Award for his portrayal of one of two autistic twins.

In the musical comedy movie Hairspray (2007), which is based on the same-named 2002 Broadway production, Efron played Link Larkin. After being released in July 2007, the movie experienced significant commercial and critical success. Later that year, in High School Musical 2 (2007; Disney Channel, August 2007), he returned to the role of Troy Bolton.

In High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008), the first movie in the High School Musical series to be released in theaters, Zac Efron played the same character once more. Critics gave the movie mixed to excellent reviews, and it ended up being a huge box office hit. Following this, he directed the critically acclaimed comedy 17 Again (2009), about a 37-year-old guy (Matthew Perry) who accidentally turns into his 17-year-old self (Zac Efron).

Early in 2021, Efron left Los Angeles and relocated to Australia. While there, he worked on many projects and bought a house in Byron Bay.
