  2. This vast and boisterous tavern has plenty of atmosphere for a taste of true old Brussels life. A la Mort Subite, with its long rows of wooden tables, shabby chic yellow pillars, and very own Mannekin Pis, is the ideal setting to enjoy a Kriek lambic and meet up with friends. The family-run tavern is a haven for Gueuze and Lambic beer connoisseurs, with a diverse variety of draught and bottled beers. Abbey beers, Trappist beers, local and foreign kinds, and, of course, Mort Subite are among them. A modest selection of delightful snacks, including sandwiches, omelets, salads, and sweet and savory treats, is also offered.

Many people stop by this cafe after touring the Museum of Letters and Manuscripts. You should book a meal at A la Mort Subite if you have never eaten Belgian cuisine. You'll enjoy the meal, especially the well-prepared mushroom omelette, tartines, and laing. It's a wonderful notion to order delectable crepes, parfait, and fruitcakes. You will never forget an excellent Belgian beer, draft beer, or cordial. All you need for a family vacation is a warm hotel with lovely décor. Its greatest assets are its rapid service and polite employees. Visitors to this location feel the pricing is reasonable.

  3. If you want to take a break from Helsinki's stylized bars and typical drink menus? Then head to Liberty or Death, a new boutique cocktail bar that's sweeping the Helsinki drinking scene by storm. If you can locate the unassuming entry (it's on a busy street, but it's incredibly easy to miss) in Helsinki's design area, you'll enter through the door and into what feels like another period. To compensate for the gloom, shelves are loaded with books and spice jars, and the bar is littered with old-world gear, from gigantic hourglasses to ancient oil lamps and antique cocktail equipment. Regulars may even rent a drawer in the antique chest to house their own booze stash.

The main light source in the lounge room-style bar is candles jammed in vintage liquor bottles, and the jazzy soundtrack adds to the old-world ambiance. The changing cocktail menu is very inventive, with titles like Jabberwocky, Mutineer, and Before They Are Hanged. This is the place to go if you want rare spirits and creative flavor combinations. The bartenders, who are tastefully outfitted in 1920s-era garb, can gladly prepare one of your particular favorites as well. Low benches, high tables, and a few bar stools are available for seating, but if you're sitting near one of the exposed brick walls, feel around to check whether any of the bricks are loose.

  4. Sullivan Doh and Romain Le Moullic's subterranean bar is kitschy sparkling, bronze-hued, and hidden behind a dilapidated façade in more ways than one — the menu focuses on lesser-known French liqueurs (Eaux de vie, cognacs, Armagnacs) and combines them in to-die-for modern combinations. If the rain caught you off guard while strolling through Porte Saint-Denis, stop by this pub. Le Syndicat serves excellent monkfish, daurade, and tapenade. Here, a well-prepared parfait is presented. You will never forget the delectable liqueur, cognac, or champagne that you can sample. It could be lovely to sip some excellent lemonade, coffee, or tonic.

This location's comfortable atmosphere allows guests to unwind after a long day at work. This location is recommended because of the kind employees. These restaurateurs are concerned about providing exceptional service. You will find reasonable deals here. The adorable décor is a huge plus.

    ORA

This pub is housed within a historic pharmacy on Kreuzberg's Oranienplatz, which dates back to 1861 but was abandoned after the war until the new building owners, Lukas Schmid and Christoph Mack, launched ORA in May 2015. They renovated the room while retaining many of the original elements, such as the ancient wooden medicine cabinets, apothecary jars, and tiled floors. When the new owners turned on the old neon 'ORANIEN-APOTHEKE' sign outside, just three letters lighted up – O, R, and A – making the name for the new institution obvious.

A visit to ORA is like going back in time, and the bar crew is on hand with top-notch drinks, such as the Cassis Sling, in addition to their superb, imaginative cuisine selection (think veal loin with rhubarb and parsnip ice cream) (mezcal, cassis and lemon juice). While you're there, keep the retro vibe going by seeing a movie at the adjacent Babylon Kreuzberg, a movie theater that dates back to the 1920s.

  7. This dark and tiny cocktail bar is one of the best in town. The atmosphere is rough and industrial, yet it is softened by the beautiful glow of candles flickering on tables and in candelabras. Most people congregate in couples and small groups of friends, conversing softly while sipping drinks. It's a favorite among the bar-hopping natives of Neukölln and adjacent Kreuzberg, but the pub is also gaining popularity among tourists.

  10. In't Aepjen, founded in 1519, is one of Amsterdam's oldest brown bars (the Dutch equivalent of an English pub), and the intimate space draws a huge audience given its closeness to the major railway station. It's also oddly festooned with monkeys—monkey sculptures, stuffed monkeys, and monkey posters—a reference to its name, which translates as "In the Monkeys". According to folklore, sailors returning from the Dutch colonies were cash-strapped, so they paid their bills with exotic creatures (namely, monkeys) obtained on their voyages. You must pay in euros, but the beer selection is adequate, and you can also sample the native spirit, jenever.

You should visit this bar if you happen to be near the Leger des Heils Museum (Salvation Army). You must come to 't Aepjen for rest and sample some delicious bitterballen and well-prepared laing. Delicious che will wow you from the first mouthful. Guests are advised to get a nice beer, gin, or wine. Great coffee may be had here. This establishment is well-known for its excellent service and pleasant personnel who are always willing to assist you. Prices at this location are said to be typical. You will undoubtedly like the serene environment and magnificent design.
