  1. Spice is the debut studio album by the English girl group the Spice Girls, released by Virgin Records on September 19, 1996, in Japan and November 4, 1996, in the United Kingdom. Producers Matt Rowe and Richard Stannard, as well as the production duo Absolute, recorded the album between 1995 and 1996 at Olympic Studios in Barnes, London, and Strongroom Studios in Shoreditch, London. Spice is a musical album that combines dance, R&B, and hip-hop influences. It is widely regarded as the album that resurrected teen pop, paving the way for a new generation of teen pop performers. The album was conceptually based on the concept of Girl Power, and the fanfare around the group was compared to Beatlemania.

Spice was a worldwide commercial success, topping the charts in over 17 countries and earning Multi-Platinum in 27 countries, Platinum in 14 countries, and Gold in three countries, including 10-times Platinum in the UK and Canada, eight-times Platinum in Europe, and seven-times Platinum in the US. It was the best-selling record in the world in 1997, selling 19 million copies in just over a year. 2. TLC's second studio album, CrazySexyCool, is their second studio album. LaFace and Arista Records released it on November 15, 1994. Following their record deal, the trio released Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip in 1992, which received favorable reviews and economic success. The group began working on a follow-up the next year, but the recording process was unsuccessful due to personal issues, particularly those of member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, who was embroiled in a turbulent love relationship and dealing with alcoholism. Because Lopes was in treatment at the time, the album's recording stretched until September 1994.

The trio reunited with producers Dallas Austin, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, and Jermaine Dupri, as well as new collaborators, Organized Noize and Chucky Thompson, for the album, which also contained contributions from Sean "Puffy" Combs, who contributed to the album's prominent hip hop soul feel. Hip hop beats, funk, deep grooves, propulsive rhythms, and smooth production were featured on CrazySexyCool. The lyrical substance of the album was considered as a change from the group's debut, and as a coming-of-age effort that tackled topics including sexuality, romance, inexperience, and young optimism.
