Destiny Fulfilled - Destiny's Child
Destiny Fulfilled is the fifth and last studio album by Destiny's Child, an American R&B group. Columbia Records and Sony Urban Music published it on November 16, 2004. It was Destiny's Child's comeback album, marking the group's return following a break that allowed each member to produce individual albums. Unlike their prior work, each member contributed equally to songwriting and production on this album. Rockwilder, Swizz Beatz, and Rodney Jerkins, as well as numerous new producers, collaborated with Destiny's Child on the album.
The members got the inspiration for the album's subject from talks they had during the first week of recording when they talked about what was going on in their lives while they were separated. Destiny Fulfilled is an R&B album that is largely made up of mid-tempo tracks and ballads that are sequels to each other, creating one entire tale. It received mixed reviews from music reviewers, who panned the album's mid-tempo ballads and lyrical content.
