    Xiaomi

    Xiaomi Corporation, also known as Xiaomi and doing business as Xiaomi Inc., is a Chinese company that designs and produces household goods, home appliances, and consumer electronics, as well as related software. The company is rated 338th and is the youngest company on the Fortune Global 500. It is the second-largest smartphone maker in the world, behind Samsung, and the majority of its products operate on the MIUI user interface, which is based on the Android operating system.

    Lei Jun, a current multi-billionaire, and six senior partners launched Xiaomi in 2010 when he was 40 years old in Beijing. Lei developed both Kingsoft and Joyo.com, which he sold to Amazon in 2004 for $75 million. By 2014, Xiaomi held the largest market share of smartphones sold in China. Xiaomi introduced its first smartphone in August 2011. The business started out solely selling its goods online but eventually developed physical locations.


    Xiaomi's market cap was $34.71 billion as of March 2023. By market cap, this places Xiaomi as the 490th most valuable firm in the world.     Haier

    With its headquarters in Qingdao, Shandong, Haier is a global Chinese manufacturer of consumer electronics and home appliances. Products including refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, dryers, microwave ovens, mobile phones, laptops, and televisions are among the ones it creates, develops, manufactures, and sells. Seven global brands, including Haier, Casarte, Leader, GE Appliances, Fisher & Paykel, Aqua, and Candy, make up the home appliances sector, or Haier Smart Home.

    From 2009 through 2018, Haier ranked as the top major appliance brand internationally, according to statistics made public by Euromonitor.     Huawei

    With its headquarters in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. is a Chinese multinational technology company that develops, produces, and sells telecommunications equipment, consumer electronics, smart gadgets, and a range of rooftop solar power products. Ren Zhengfei, a former officer in the People's Liberation Army, started the company in 1987. (PLA).

    TCL Technology

    Electronics manufacturer TCL Technologies is based in Huizhou, Guangdong Province. Consumer goods like televisions, mobile phones, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, and small electrical appliances are among the products it designs, develops, produces, and distributes. It ranked as the 25th-largest maker of consumer electronics in the world in 2010. By 2019, it has overtaken Sony as the second-largest television manufacturer by market share.

    ZTE

    ZTE Corporation is a telecommunications-focused technology business with a small amount of state ownership in China. ZTE was established in 1985 and is traded on the Shenzhen and Hong Kong Stock Exchanges.

    Wireless exchange, optical transmission, data telecommunications equipment, telecommunications software, and mobile phones make up the bulk of ZTE's operations. ZTE is an OEM, yet it sells goods mostly under its own brand.


    Because of its connections to the Chinese government, which potentially allow for widespread surveillance, the corporation has come under fire in the United States, India, and Sweden. ZTE was penalized in 2017 for breaking economic restrictions by illegitimately transferring US technology to Iran and North Korea. U.S. firms (semiconductors) were prohibited from exporting to ZTE for seven years by the U.S.

After ZTE replaced its senior management, agreed to pay additional fines, and committed to set up an internal compliance unit for ten years, the ban was lifted in July 2018.     A Chinese global technology corporation called Lenovo Group Limited is focused on developing, producing, and selling consumer goods, personal computers, software, business solutions, and associated services. Desktop computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, workstations, servers, supercomputers, electronic storage devices, IT management software, and smart televisions are among the products that the company manufactures.

    Guangdong Chinese consumer electronics producer Oppo Mobile Telecommunications Corp., Ltd., doing business as OPPO, has its headquarters in Dongguan, Guangdong. Smartphones, smart devices, audio equipment, power banks, and other electrical products are among its main product categories.

    A Chinese international technology business with its headquarters in Dongguan, Guangdong, Vivo Communication Technology Co.     Realme

    Based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, Realme is a manufacturer of consumer electronics in China. On May 4, 2018, Li Bingzhong (also known as Sky Li), a former vice president of Oppo, created it. Realme initially entered the market as a subsidiary of Oppo before becoming a separate brand. With an 831% growth rate, Realme then emerged as the 5G smartphone brand with the quickest rate of growth in Q3 2021.


    Realme's success in utilizing community-driven tools like Facebook can be linked to its popularity online. The Squad Leader Program was started by Realme Philippines in 2018. The first three Squad Leaders, according to Realme, will assist in informing community members and managing the official Facebook communities in return for benefits that include official Realme items and internal merchandise.

    The Squad Leader Program was able to increase the company's official Facebook group to over 500,000 members from less than 5,000 at the end of 2018.     OnePlus

    A Chinese company called OnePlus, doing business as OnePlus, has its headquarters in Shenzhen, Guangdong. It is an Oppo subsidiary. On December 16, 2013, Pete Lau and Carl Pei established OnePlus with the goal of creating the OnePlus One, a premium flagship smartphone powered by CyanogenMod.


    OnePlus would keep releasing smartphones into the 2010s and 2020s. The OnePlus Nord, the company's first mid-range smartphone since the OnePlus X in 2015, was introduced by OnePlus in 2020. Until his departure from the firm in October 2020, Pei oversaw the product design and marketing for OnePlus. He afterwards founded a manufacturer of consumer goods called Nothing.


    In 2022–2023, OnePlus is still actively manufacturing smartphones with top-tier features, including 5G connections, for affordable prices ($200–749 USD). To increase its credibility and reach, OnePlus has teamed with T-Mobile to make the OnePlus Phone available through T-Mobile.
