Guangdong Chinese consumer electronics producer Oppo Mobile Telecommunications Corp., Ltd., doing business as OPPO, has its headquarters in Dongguan, Guangdong. Smartphones, smart devices, audio equipment, power banks, and other electrical products are among its main product categories.

BBK Electronics is said to be connected to it, while the business publicly disputes this. In China, the brand name "Oppo" was first registered in 2001, and it was made public in 2004. The business has since grown to include 50 nations.

With the sale of its devices at more than 200,000 retail locations, OPPO overtook Samsung as the leading smartphone manufacturer in China in June 2016. In terms of market share, OPPO was the No. 5 smartphone brand globally in 2019 and the No. 1 brand in China.
