Realme
Based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, Realme is a manufacturer of consumer electronics in China. On May 4, 2018, Li Bingzhong (also known as Sky Li), a former vice president of Oppo, created it. Realme initially entered the market as a subsidiary of Oppo before becoming a separate brand. With an 831% growth rate, Realme then emerged as the 5G smartphone brand with the quickest rate of growth in Q3 2021.
Realme's success in utilizing community-driven tools like Facebook can be linked to its popularity online. The Squad Leader Program was started by Realme Philippines in 2018. The first three Squad Leaders, according to Realme, will assist in informing community members and managing the official Facebook communities in return for benefits that include official Realme items and internal merchandise.
The Squad Leader Program was able to increase the company's official Facebook group to over 500,000 members from less than 5,000 at the end of 2018. As a result, it has one of the biggest official Facebook communities of any American smartphone manufacturer. Over seven people currently work for free as part of the Squad Leader Program.
