  1. Cavernas de Repechón (Caverns of Repechón), also known as Cuevas De Los Pajaros Nocturnos (Night Birds Caves), one of the Most Spectacular Caves in Bolivia, is a limestone cave system in Bolivia's Chapare Province. The park is home to a population of oilbirds, however it is rarely visited due to its difficult access and secluded location.

In 1942, the caves were discovered. The Wildlife Sanctuary "Cavernas de Repechón" was established in 1991 to conserve the guácharos, and it has now become a tourist destination within the Carrasco National Park.

  2. Qala Qala (Aymara qala stone, the reduplication denotes that there is a group or a complex of things, "a collection of stones," hispanicized spellings Calacala, Cala Cala, and also Kala Kala) is an archaeological site in Bolivia located in the same-named valley. The rock art in the valley is well-known, and it is among the Most Spectacular Caves in Bolivia.

Qillqata is another name for the area where the rock art can be discovered. (Aymara qillqaa to write, -ta a suffix to signify the participle, "written" or "something written," hispanized Quelcata, Quellqata) It is located southeast of Oruro in the Oruro Department, Cercado Province, Soracachi Municipality. The rocks lie about 2 kilometers from the settlement of Qala Qala (Calacala) and rise to a height of 4,050 meters (13,287 ft).

On May 2, 1970, Supreme Decrete No. 9087 designated the rock paintings of Qala Qala as a National Monument.

  3. The Devil's Cave, also known as Cueva del Diablo, one of the Most Spectacular Caves in Bolivia, is a karst cave 6 kilometers east of Potos, Bolivia. Above, the site is the San Bartolomé Chapel. The cave may be found at the bottom of a 100-meter-long ravine. The name of the cave comes from a dark streak in the rocks at the cave's entrance; legend has it that Lucifer left the mark while escaping a vision of St. Bartholomew.

The ravine was characterized as having a "demonic presence" by Bartholomew Arzáns de Orsa y Vela in 1737. By carving an image of the saint on the rocks outside the cave mouth, the Jesuits are supposed to have banished the devil from the ravine and cave.

Location: La Puerta, Bolivia, 6km east of Potosí
