  1. Tokyo Skytree is the tallest TV tower in the world at the moment, located in Sumida district, Tokyo, Japan.   2. Canton Tower is the second tallest television tower in the world today, located in Guangzhou province, China. The tower was started construction in November 2005 and completed in August 2009 with a total investment cost of 450 million USD. Canton Tower has a height of 610 m, including 37 floors. This is a construction consisting of a broadcast tower, a commercial center, an office, a hotel, a media center, and even a 4D cinema located at an altitude of 80 - 170 m. In the tower, there are 2 types of elevators, a slow speed type for panoramic views and a fast speed type with two floors and transparent elevators used mainly for sightseeing.


    The tower was designed based on the idea of Information Based Architecture company, Amsterdam, Netherlands. This design option is quite special, the idea is simply a twisted tower, but the actual construction process is quite complicated. A high-rise tower does not carry familiar features such as straight lines, many straight lines, bringing strength, but on the contrary, there is transparency, many curves, showing softness.

  3. CN Tower, whose full name is Canadian National Tower, is a famous tower located in Toronto, Canada. The tower was started construction on January 6, 1973, and completed on June 26, 1976, with a total investment of nearly $260 million. CN Tower has a height of 553.33 m, including 147 floors and 6 elevators. Inside there are many architectural works such as an observation tower, revolving restaurant.   5. Oriental Pearl Tower, also known as Mingzhou TV tower, is a TV tower located on the Huangpu River, Pudong District, Shanghai, China. This tower was started construction in 1991 and completed in 1995, is the third tallest tower in Asia. Oriental Pearl Tower was designed by architect Jia Huan Cheng with the idea taken from the poem Tang Sing toads and beehives. The tower is 468 m high, including 14 floors.

  9. Central Radio & TV Tower, full name is CCTV Tower Beijing TV Tower, is a television tower of China Central station, located in Beijing. The tower was designed by architect Snoeren in 1980, started construction in 1987, and was completed and put into use 5 years later in 1992.
