Ada Bojana
Ada Bojana is a Montenegrin island located in the municipality of Ulcinj. It is the most neautiful islands in Montenegro . In Serbo-Croatian, the name Ada means "river island."
A river delta of the Bojana River created the island. It is situated on Montenegro's southernmost tip, separated from Pulaj and Velipoj in Albanian territory by the Bojana river.
The island is triangular in shape, with the Bojana river on two sides and the Adriatic Sea on the other. It covers an area of 4.8 square kilometers.
It's a popular tourist destination with a 3-kilometer (2-mile) sandy beach and typical seafood eateries. Due to the strong cross onshore winds during summer afternoons, Ada Bojana offers kitesurfing and windsurfing areas on the Adriatic Coast. Camping is Ada Bojana's major source of income.
