Sveta Nedelya & Katich
Sveta Nedelya & Katich are small islands in Montenegro's Adriatic Sea. They are in the vicinity of Petrovac, near the coast. The Big and Small Katich are their official names, but the latter are more commonly referred to as the Lights of the Week.
Although the islets are small, they are famous tourist sites, owing to the intriguing maritime voyages that must be taken to get there. Those who wish to unwind away from the noise and bustle will also be drawn to the islands' solitude.
Because the islands are virtually in the same straight line perpendicular to the coast, only one of them, Katich, is visible from Petrovac city beach. If you gaze from the outskirts of Petrovac, you can see the lights of Week and Katich from the coast. Coral reefs, which are a protected area and are protected by the state, are located near the islands. The vicinity of the underwater rock Donkov Seka is the most interesting site for divers.
To visit the island of Katic, you must first make arrangements with local fisherman, who will gladly take you out on a sea expedition.
