Aiglon College
Aiglon College was created on a specific principle: the development of the mind, body, and soul in harmony. This idea serves as the foundation for everything it does. Aiglon is unique among international boarding schools in that it is community-owned but is responsible for reinvesting in the school for today and the future.
As Aiglonians progress through the school's curriculum, it is critical to their growth to see an increased emphasis on how they engage with the school's comprehensive beliefs and the responsibilities that it values. As a result, students must finish and participate in all areas of the program, not simply classroom learning, in order to receive the Aiglon diploma.
Regardless of the cohort you join at Aiglon or how long you have been here each year, the group offers a unique set of chances that are framed as part of a much bigger learning program than just the classroom experience. You can climb mountains and tour the world from junior school to IB.
There are ten houses at Aiglon, five for girls and five for boys, with eight in the senior school and two in the junior school. Most homes in the senior school house roughly 50 students, and up to 30 in the junior school. Each house has its personality, shaped by its houseparent and bolstered by the house's unique traditions and identity.
Students share a study bedroom with up to three other students in each house. A standard room, a dining room, and other public areas such as a kitchen and a games room are also available. Houseparents reside on-site and are assisted by assistant houseparents and tutors allocated to each student.
Aiglon College’s activities program provides students with a variety of learning opportunities to improve skills and gain experience, allowing them to pursue their interests while also encouraging them to try something new.
