Cardiff Sixth Form College opened its doors in 2004. It was committed to forging a new path as a small, private instructional institution. Cardiff intended to cultivate potential and aim for excellence in all areas by combining small class numbers, quality education, and individual attention for each student.

Cardiff Sixth Form College admitted its first international students in 2009. Since then, it has grown to include an increasing number of outstanding intellectual students worldwide and investments in cutting-edge boarding facilities and first-rate pastoral care.

Cardiff Sixth Form College is a multicultural setting. Cardiff, proud of its diversity and global orientation, currently has students from more than 40 countries, including local Welsh and UK students seeking an academic focus and a pathway to top universities.

A Levels in England and Wales are divided into two sections: AS Level in the first year and A2 Level in the second year. Both levels can be taken as stand-alone qualifications, although A2 can only be taken once an AS certificate in the specified subject has been obtained.

GCSEs are often taken as a two-year course between the ages of 14 and 16. Students aged 15-16 typically enroll in a one-year GCSE course that covers fewer courses. There are required core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science, as well as optional subjects chosen by the students individually.

Three sorts of rooms are available: cluster rooms, apartments, and studio flats. Four to six students share cluster rooms, including single bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, a communal kitchen, and a lounge.

Apartments contain two single bedrooms, a common bathroom, a kitchen, and a lounge, whilst studio flats have a single room with an ensuite bathroom and a kitchen but no lounge and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cardiff Sixth Form College students participate in various clubs, House activities, annual celebrations, and social events. Some of these activities are led by staff, while students run others. Students are encouraged to join current groups or form new ones if they have a certain passion or interest.
