Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester

Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, one of just five London restaurants with three Michelin stars, has long been regarded as the city's premier fine-dining venue. It celebrated a decade with the honor of having originally won it in 2010 by keeping its third star in the 2020 guide. Ducasse's career has been littered with Michelin stars, with 18 presently on his list and as many as 21 at one point.

The Dorchester's Alain Ducasse restaurant serves contemporary French cuisine in a sophisticated and beautiful setting, with professional and pleasant service. The seasonal menu varies frequently, but customers can anticipate a blend of British and French ingredients. In a tribute to changing eating patterns, there is also a vegetarian menu (Jardin).

The restaurant also houses London's most iconic dining table. The Table Lumière is located in the center of the dining area and is surrounded by 4,500 shimmering optical fibers that drop dramatically from the ceiling, allowing diners to experience the ambiance and hustle of the restaurant while being nearly screened from view. Guests also dine on Hermès dinnerware and Puiforcat silverware and sip from Saint-Louis crystal glasses.
