Lecture Room & Library at Sketch

Sketch, which occupies what was formerly Christian Dior's headquarters, is sleek, glamorous, and trendy. Since 2020, it has had a maximum of three stars, joining Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, Core by Clare Smyth, and Hélène Darroze at The Connaught.

The Lecture Room & Library, located at the top of the Grade II listed structure, serves gourmet cuisine by the renowned chef Pierre Gagnaire in a sumptuous environment of studded ivory leather walls, intricate plasterwork ceilings, and rich purple and scarlet furnishings. Gagnaire has a global empire to handle, so he delegated the cooking to Johannes Nuding.

Diners can select from a seven-course tasting menu (vegetarian options are available) or a complete a la carte menu. There is also an extensive wine selection with some extremely pricey vintages on sale. The guest facilities, which seem like something out of a Stanley Kubrick film, are without a doubt the most Instagrammable toilets (if such a thing exists) in London.
