Alfaisal University
Alfaisal University is a coeducational, private, non-profit (teaching-oriented) higher education institution in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The King Faisal Foundation established it in 2002. In 2008, the first students were accepted. Alfaisal presently has around 2500 students enrolled. Saudi nationals make up 67 percent of the student body, with students from more than 40 other countries accounting for the remaining 33 percent. There are almost 200 academic members, including foreign professors from 31 nations. Representatives from five enterprises, four overseas firms, and a representative from the Ministry of Education make up the Board of Trustees.
Alfaisal, a genuinely aesthetically spectacular campus located on the austere grounds of His Majesty the Late King Faisal's palace in Riyadh's capital, is the crown gem of the globally renowned King Faisal Foundation. Alfaisal's undergraduates are enrolled in one of the University's five colleges: Business, Engineering, Medicine, Science, and Pharmacy, with over 3,000 students representing over 40 countries. Students can continue their education on campus by earning a master's degree in business, engineering, nanoscience, biomedical science, or health sciences.
