Amity University, India

Amity University is an Indian private research university in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2005. It is currently India's top-ranked institution in a variety of subjects of study. This university provided law degrees in a variety of subjects. An LL.M degree at this university costs around 180,000 rupees (approximately 2595 dollars) and approximately 379, 982 Pakistani rupees. The Ritnand Balved Education Foundation created Amity University on March 24, 2005, under the UP Vidhan Sabha's The Amity University Uttar Pradesh Act, 2005 (Act 11 of 2005). It was India's first private institution to implement merit-based scholarships and reservations for students. In 2011, the institution had approximately 80,000 students enrolled in 240 programs. Atul Chauhan is the chancellor of Amity University. The foundation's additional president is Aseem Chauhan.

The National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) has given Amity University an 'A+' rating. Six of the university's engineering programs have received international accreditation from the IET. The Bar Council of India recognizes Amity Law programs. The Distance Education Bureau recognizes the university's distance learning programs. The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs has granted accreditation to the management programs (ACBSP). The WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) has also accredited Amity University, Noida.
