University of Hong Kong
Sir Frederick Lugard, the Governor of Hong Kong at the time, established the University of Hong Kong in 1911. The renowned Dr. Sun Yet-Sen was one of the university's early graduates. The University of Hong Kong is the largest university in the city. To get admitted as an international student, you must have an IELTS score of 7 bands. The cost of a law degree at this university is around 161,000 Hong Kong Dollars ($20,530) and 3,006,687 Pakistani Rupees ($3,006,687) per year.
HKU admissions are quite difficult. In 2016, the institution received about 40,000 applications for undergraduate study, with over 16,000 of them coming from outside Hong Kong's educational system. The enrollment rate for Mainland China applicants was one student for every twenty-one applications. In 2012, HKU accepted students who scored highest on the HKDSE test. Applicants from all over the world who have received more than 5 A*s in their GCE A-Levels, 75/75 in the Taiwan GSAT, 45/45 in the IB, and 16 5** Zhuangyuan (the highest Gaokao scorers in their province or city in mainland China) are among those matriculated into the University.
