Amsterdam Gay Pride Festival
Amsterdam Gay Pride celebrates the LGBT community around the world with a vibrant Amsterdam canal parade, street parties, and open-air concerts over a weekend in August. One of the festivals. world's largest gay rights group, it began with an opening rally and keynote at the Homomonument in the Westermarkt, followed by a concert at Vondelpark.
On Saturdays see around 80 boats decked out with DJs, dancers, and participants sailing through the historic canals from 12:30 p.m. to 18:00. For about two weeks, dance parties and DJs take place at many of the city's open spaces and nightclubs, and the parties go on throughout the night until morning.
