Scheveningen International Fireworks Festival
The Scheveningen Fireworks Festival is a popular annual festival that is free for all in Scheveningen, a popular seaside district in The Hague. It runs over the course of two weekends in December and draws audiences to the beach with some of the world's most impressive fireworks displays.
Every year, competitors try to outdo each other in hopes of winning the Scheveningen Fireworks Cup. Grab a seat at one of the promenade's beachfront cafes to watch the night sky illuminated by dazzling fireworks. Each night there are a total of two shows and on the third night, the winner of the fireworks competition is announced. Beachside cafes are the best places to enjoy these fireworks displays while sipping a delicious meal.
