Amsterdam Music Festival

The Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF) is an electronic dance music (EDM) event that takes place during the Amsterdam Dance Event in mid-October in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Since the second edition in 2014, the main event has taken place in the Johan Cruijff Arena. During the AMF, the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs are revealed, and various awards are given out, including the prize for the best DJ in the world. The majority of the music played at the event is house and dance music; other genres played there include techno, trance, and hardstyle.

Amsterdam Music Festival is an amazing adventure, and it is for sure also an extremely safe one. The festival enforces a zero-tolerance drug policy, and you have to be able to prove that you're older than 18 to drink alcohol. Throughout the AMF grounds, you’ll find teams of friendly medical practitioners ready to care for your every need—free of charge, no questions asked. There are even special music earplugs that the festival prepares for you to protect your ears while enjoying the music during the festival.

Attracting up to 70000 EDM fans every year, the Amsterdam Music Festival is Amsterdam's biggest indoor party. Located just two meters from the stage, lucky fans might even be able to interact with the stars of the show as the pit is basically inside the DJ booth.
