Android 18

Android 18 is the older twin sister of Android 17 and Dr. Gero's eighteenth android creation, meant to satisfy Gero's hatred against Goku. While her interests do not initially vary from this expectation, her desire to awaken Android 16, against Gero's orders not to, leads Android 17 to rebel and murder Gero. Android 18 eventually becomes a member of the Z Fighters, as well as Krillin's wife and the mother of their daughter Marron.

Android 18, like her brother, usually has a calm and confident demeanor, especially in battle, yet her sarcastic and cutting humor is her most notable personality trait. Android 18 is said to despise driving because Android 17 insisted on driving around aimlessly when there was nothing else to do. However, at the age of 18, she retains some of her sensitivity and even protectiveness, particularly towards her twin brother, daughter, and husband.

Android 18 is portrayed as being outwardly commanding in her roles as an older sister and delinquent and later as a wife and martial artist. She demands that she and her brother 17, and later she and Krillin, make efforts to improve the family's financial situation, insists that Krillin enter the Tournament for the prize money, and coaxes Mr. Satan gave her 20 million Zeni by destroying his property and increasing the prize money by a hundredfold.
