Kushina Uzumaki

Kushina is one of the most recognizable female characters in anime as well as one of the best anime mother characters, yet she has more than just vibrant red hair. She played a crucial role in the events of Naruto, as evidenced by the fact that she was chosen to house the Nine-Tails' renegade chakra. A member of the Uzumaki clan from Uzushiogakure, Kushina Uzumaki was a Konohagakure kunoichi. She was the Nine-Tails' second jinchriki, Kurama.

As an adult, Kushina was cheery, level-headed, and had a distinct sassy side. Despite being calm and friendly, she nonetheless had a fast temper from childhood and occasionally reacted aggressively to people who irritated her, something even she finds repulsive. Even after she passed away, she continued to have an impact on her son, aiding Naruto's cooperation and eventual friendship with Kurama. Her skills weren't demonstrated in great depth, but what was exhibited was undoubtedly very amazing.

In order to halt the Nine-Tails, Kushina Uzumaki was willing to lay down her life, even receiving the fox's fatal strike intended for her young son. She did everything she could in her final moments to shower her son with love, despite being terrified of the hard and horrible life that Naruto would have to live as an orphaned jinchuriki. She was extremely devoted to Minato's students and thought Rin Nohara was adorable, giving her many forehead hugs. She also sparred with Obito Uchiha, who Minato claims was her favorite.
