Masaki Kurosaki

Isshin Kurosaki's wife Masaki Kurosaki was a real Quincy, and she was the mother of Ichigo Kurosaki, Karin Kurosaki, and Yuzu Kurosaki. She was the lone surviving member of her family and was raised by the Ishidas before being forced to live with Isshin after an encounter with a Hollow. Masaki Kurosaki, a figure so legendary that even after her death, she is still regarded as one of the most potent Quincy, technically closed the gap between Shinigami and Quincy much earlier than it was intended.

Masaki Kurosaki is a devoted wife and mother, according to her family. She believed that "caring about herself" meant exerting every effort each day. She would never be able to forgive herself if she caused people to perish because of a tradition that her family upheld.

Although she felt anxious around her adoptive mother and cried when she was with herself as a teenager, she put up a strong, assured face to others. She also had a snarky disposition, which was especially evident when she spoke to Ryken Ishida. Tatsuki Arisawa claimed that whenever Ichigo saw his mother, he would stop sobbing. She said that Ichigo's mother was the most gorgeous mother she had ever seen, and he accepted responsibility for her demise. Isshin believed that his wife's passing was also his own fault.
