Angolares Waterfall
The next waterfall we have on this list is the Angolares Waterfall. This 17 meters waterfall is located in the South-Westen of São Tomé and Príncipe and is said to be one of the best waterfalls on this beautiful island. One of the things that makes this waterfall "one of the best", is that it is located in the middle of two water tunnels on a friendly mountain trail. That being said, tourists won't have lots of trouble visiting this waterfall. However, there are a lot of local guides that you can count on to show you some tricks on the way to witness this beautiful nature.
Tourists who visit the Angolares Waterfall are advised to bring good hiking or sports shoes for the road, a swimming suit for the refreshing pools, and a jacket to keep themselves warm as the temperature could be low in the jungle, especially after you swim here. To go to this waterfall, you will have to go through the old cocoa plantations where you can already hear the sound of the waterfall, then go through the water tunnel to reach the waterfall. The freshness of the waterfalls in the tropical climate will make you fall in love with the waterfall, and have for yourself an unforgettable moment.
