Anjouan
Anjouan - The inhabitants name it Ndzouani, and this Comorian island is the stuff that dreams are made of. Because of its Robinson Crusoe-like traits, Anjouan is known as "The Pearl of Comoros." Anjouan is famous for wearing the Shiromani, a sheet-like garment that ladies wrap over their bodies. The Shiromani is frequently crimson, reflecting the color of Anjouan.
