Mayotte
Mayotte is the most traditional tourist destination in Comoros. It is one of the best places in Comoros that you must visit. Many people believe that the island, which is still administered by the French, is pricey and out of harmony with the isolated paradise atmosphere that the rest of the island has. But you'll discover amazing turquoise seas, white sand, and top-notch snorkeling, sailing, and diving here.
The island of Mayotte is bordered by typical tropical coral reefs. It is made up of a massive outer barrier reef that envelops one of the world's largest and deepest lagoons, as well as a fringing reef divided by mangrove forests. Mayotte's seas are all protected by a National Marine Park, and several are natural reserves.
Mayotte is made up of one main island, Grande-Terre (or Maore), a smaller sub-island, Petite-Terre (or Pamanzi), and many surrounding islands. It is a Southeast African country located between northwestern Madagascar and northeastern Mozambique.
