Armier Bay

This peaceful, family-friendly beach on Malta's northern coast is a wonderful alternative to Mellieha Bay, which is only three kilometers away. Because of its secluded location in the countryside and away from the road, Armier Bay enjoys a peaceful atmosphere.

The magnificent sandy shoreline of Armier Bay is kissed by clear blue waves. With calm waves, the sea is pristine and stunningly clear. In comparison to Mellieha Bay, tourist facilities are sparse, but there are a few snack bars, refreshment stands, and restaurants. Water sports equipment, as well as lounge chairs and beach umbrellas, can be rented.

Armier Bay is exposed to the open sea, which means severe undercurrents might exist. Before entering the sea, it's a good idea to consult the locals about safety. At Armier Bay, there are no lifeguards. The beach offers spectacular views of Gozo and Comino islands in the distance, thanks to its location on Malta's northernmost coast.
