Gnejna Bay Beach

Gnejna Bay beach is located two kilometers south of Mgarr settlement. A completely rural location with only fisherman's and boat owners' boat homes erected along the bay's edge. A sandy beach is bordered by clay and limestone slopes, creating a really natural setting. The top of the hill is dominated by a guard tower. The sandy beach occupies nearly the entire beach area. The flat rock bed on the right is great for individuals who enjoy this beach but prefer not to walk in the sand. It provides a broader range of bathing opportunities or a more flexible day for those who want to get away from the crowns. It is not well known with tourists, and so you will meet more locals than foreigners. Visitors must descend a steep staircase through the hillside to reach the seashore at Gnejna Bay Beach. The stretch of fine golden sand and the sparkling lakes please nature enthusiasts.

This bay is one of three bays that are close together. Ghajn Tuffieha is nearby, followed by Golden Bay. They're all separated by towering rock and clay peninsulas, and there are no highways linking them. Both Riviera Martinique and Golden Bay are about a twenty-minute drive away from here via Mgarr.

You'll find perfect peace and plenty of room to stretch your legs here. Swimming is available at a variety of locations along the beach. Snorkeling is a fantastic option thanks to the crystal clear water. The right-hand inner half is a nudist retreat, despite the fact that this is forbidden in Malta. Facilities include public restrooms, snack bars, and stands that rent out lounge chairs and beach umbrellas.
