Golden Bay Beach
This beautiful family-friendly beach has it all: the top-notch amenities of a well-developed tourist destination and the pristine atmosphere of an unspoilt natural site. The lovely golden-sand shoreline of Golden Cove, which runs along a small bay on Malta's rugged northwest coast, is rather large. There is plenty of space for sunbathing visitors to spread out.
The beach is surrounded by shrub-covered cliffs and hillsides, which provide wind protection. The place has a secluded feel due to its undeveloped rural surroundings. The nearest road can't be seen from the beach, and there's no traffic noise to drown out the soothing sound of gently crashing waves.
Golden Bay Beach is known for its turquoise seas that are stunningly pure. In general, the swimming and snorkeling conditions are great. During the high season, lifeguards patrol the beach and flags are used to express safety warnings. The beach is well-equipped, with public restrooms, changing rooms, and a kiosk where you may hire lounge chairs and beach umbrellas. There's also a beachfront snack shop with fantastic sea views that serves sandwiches, snacks, and coffee drinks on a patio.
The five-star Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, which overlooks Golden Bay, is a popular choice for summer beach vacations. Because of its numerous restaurants and excellent guest services, this resort is particularly appealing to families with children. Popeye Village, a children's attraction about a 15-minute drive from the hotel, is another appeal. Golden Bay Beach is known for its beautiful sunsets, which are a highlight for tourists staying the night.
