Aselsan, one of the largest manufacturing companies in Turkey, is a Turkish defense company based in Ankara, Turkey. Its primary business is the research, development, and production of innovative military products for air, land, and maritime forces. The firm is a key contractor for the Turkish Armed Forces. Defense News ranked Aselsan as the 48th largest defense company in terms of sales. The Turkish Army Foundation is the company's creator and largest stockholder.

The Turkish Army Foundation established Aselsan in 1975, following the United States' decision to impose an embargo on Turkey as a result of the Cyprus Operation. ASELSAN designs, develops, and manufactures cutting-edge electronic systems for military and industrial clients in Turkey and around the world. The company's headquarters are in Ankara, Turkey, at the Macunköy facilities.
