Auberge Aal Veinen
The small, pleasant Auberge in Vianden is located at the foot of the castle. It was once a smithy and is one of Vianden's oldest structures. There is now a rustic restaurant with 9 newly restored modern rooms.
Also, this comfortable two-level restaurant, carved straight into the rock, is known for its marinated meats barbecued over a charcoal fire. In addition, there are four different types of schnitzel, charcuterie platters, Spätzle (hand-rolled noodles), salads, and overall good cheer. The quality is high, and the portions are generous: it's all too easy to order too much. Handmade sausages, burgers, and small schnitzels are among the menu items for children.
Auberge Aal Veinen serves specialities from the charcoal grill together with carefully picked wines in a relaxed setting.
For you and your companions, a relaxing atmosphere and rustic comfort. Their good kitchen and specialties from the charcoal barbecue encourage you to dine. Their extensive assortment of good wines completes this sensory experience.
