La Distillerie

Michelin-starred La Distillerie is a full-fledged gastronomic experience located inside the turreted, storybook castle Château de Bourglinster, some of which date from the 11th century. Chef René Mathieu's elaborate tasting menus (no à la carte) use vegetables as the star; all-vegetarian meals are available for lunch and dinner. Mathieu forages searches wild plants in the grounds of the castle.

The more informal Brasserie Côté Cour (7pm to 9.30pm Wednesday, midday to 3pm and 7pm to 9.30pm Thursday to Sunday; mains €28, menus €35 to €65) is fantastic value and part of the same set-up but in a separate wing.
