Autodromo, like many of its European equivalents, bridges the gap between motorsport and horology. Unlike many of their European counterparts, these timepieces are devoid of gimmicks and are reasonably priced. Each one is inspired by 1960s and 1970s dashboard gauges and keeps to the essentials to great effect. If you choose a quartz-powered model, you may have a trademark watch for less than $1000.

The Autodromo universe is the creative vision of founder Bradley Price, an industrial designer who set out to create one-of-a-kind goods that capture the essence of motoring. The artistic inspiration for Autodromo's goods comes from a golden period of motoring when driving needed elegance, panache, and possibly a little bit of risk.

One of the best-selling Autodromo watches is the Intereuropa Manual Wind, which gets its name from the Coppa Intereuropa event for sporty coupes, which was conducted at Monza from 1949 to 1964 as a support race for the Italian Grand Prix. Under the multi-layered dial, a Swiss-made ETA 7001 manual wind movement beats, with a K1 glass chapter ring with 3D numbering inspired by 1950s gauges. Each watch comes with a rally strap made of Saffiano leather. Saffiano leather is a luxury material that will hold up well in a sports situation but is also appropriate for formal wear. Each leather strap is individually produced in Rome, Italy.

The design philosophy of Autodromo combines a contemporary, minimalist sensibility with a mid-century vintage charm. The resultant works are equally at home in the past as the present. Everything they produce is developed in-house by their dedicated staff to provide a unique and unforgettable experience for the discriminating individual.
