Throne

Throne is a watch business based in Brooklyn, New York. The firm was created in 2013 by a man in a modest East Village apartment hand-making premium watch bands. Due to a rise in demand, they shifted to a workshop and quickly cranked out their first watch, which was a huge hit. Things have only gotten better since then, making this boutique enterprise one of the top American watch brands available.

They started Throne with a mission, to remind us all about the importance of time. Our one finite resource, sometimes we each need to slow down. Throne knows that making watches doesn't make more time, but running this company has taught them that life is to be lived, not watched on a screen. Over the years, they've learned that time is not to be conquered, and trying to do so is a fool's errand. If you can't fight it, the next best thing is to ignore it. So that's Throne's mission statement; they founded this firm to encourage people to disconnect to create art, to prioritize the vital things.

Throne's watch designs use a minimalist, incredibly fashionable approach, with a bespoke leather band and a tiny, thin watch face that is distinct from other manufacturers' watch designs. Giving users a sense of comfort, fashion, elegance, and youthfulness, similar to Throne's concept. Because of its highly tiny and distinctive form, the sense of wearing the watch yet not wearing it at all has offered consumers a very fresh experience, another level of watch design.
