Bacardi Superior Rum (Spain) Bot.1940s
Facundo Bacardi, born in Sitges, Catalonia in 1814, immigrated to Cuba in 1830. When he arrived, rum was made cheaply, so it wasn't a refined drink. To change this, Facundo Bacardi began experimenting with various blending and production techniques for high-quality rum.
He finally found the right technique after several attempts. Simply put, he filtered the rum through charcoal to remove impurities. Later, he aged the rum for several years in oak barrels. The drink was smoothed out as a result of this.
In 1862, he and his brother, Joe, opened a shop and distillery after successfully blending the first high-quality rum. The distillery was then used by the master blenders to produce the Bacardi Superior Rum (Spain) Bot.1940s and other products.
The rum is white and produced in Spain, with an alcohol content of 70cl/46 percent. Because the bottle is quite old, it should be opened with caution.
