Ron Bacardí de Maestros de Ron, Vintage, MMXII
Bacardi was founded in 1862 after Don Facundo Bacardi Masso purchased a small distillery. Bacardi produced a limited number of the following rums to commemorate 150 years of producing high-quality alcohol: Ron Bacard de Maestros de Ron, Vintage, and MMXII.
The Ron Bacard de Maestros de Ron, Vintage, MMXII was created by 8 master blenders from the finest rums – Bacardi's Puerto Rican and Mexican blenders. The resulting rum is full-bodied and luxurious, with a hint of spice, after being aged in 60-year-old cognac casks. Raisins, sweet dried tropical fruit, dark chocolate, crème caramel, freshly ground coffee beans, prunes, dried pineapple, and a slight hint of smoky sandalwood are among the notes.
The aftertaste is also quite pleasant, with notes of cracked coffee beans, dried pineapple, prunes, and bitter chocolate, as well as lingering nutmeg spice and cinnamon. The Ron Bacard de Maestros de Ron, Vintage, MMXII has a clear and deep amber color with bronze tints and the aromas of burnt sugar, espresso coffee, mandarin zest, vanilla, cinnamon, toasted maple wood, and nutmeg spice.
The bottle includes a natural cork stopper to help preserve all of the above notes and aromas.
