BASIS Oro Valley

BASIS Oro Valley is a tuition-free charter school with a top-ranked liberal arts curriculum that inspires students to love learning, develop a curiosity for critical inquiry, be independent and formulate their own goals, and graduate prepared for top-tier colleges.

BASIS Oro Valley is a charter school for students in grades six through twelve. It's part of a charter school network that spans the country. In ninth grade, students are required to begin taking Advanced Placement classes and exams. By their senior year, students are eligible to participate in BASIS' Capstone program, in which they take seminar-style classes for two-thirds of the year and propose an off-campus research project for the final trimester. Chess, band, and hiking clubs are available to students. BASIS Oro Valley is ranked #23 in the National Rankings. Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college.
