BASIS Phoenix
BASIS Phoenix, which first opened its doors in 2012, relocated to a stunning new location in North Phoenix in 2018. Their new campus, which welcomes students in grades 6–12, has a capacity of 785 students. Their new campus has a full-sized gym, allowing them to host basketball and volleyball games while also providing an auditorium for assemblies and productions. BASIS Phoenix students earn an average of 85 percent on AP Exams, including multiple exams that received 100 percent pass rates.
BASIS Phoenix is a charter school for students in grades fifth through twelfth. It is part of a nationwide public charter school system. BASIS Phoenix students begin taking Advanced Placement courses in or before the tenth grade. Qualified students may enroll in BASIS Capstone courses in their senior year, which are designed to be equivalent to 200 or 300 level college classes. During their final trimester, these seniors may complete an off-campus research project. Basketball, volleyball, anime, and Science Bowl are examples of extracurricular activities.
