BASIS Scottsdale
BASIS Scottsdale is a charter school that serves students in grades four through twelve. It is part of a nationwide public charter school system. BASIS Scottsdale students begin taking Advanced Placement courses in or before the tenth grade. Qualified students may enroll in BASIS Capstone courses in their senior year, which are designed to be equivalent to 200 or 300 level college classes. During their final trimester, these seniors may complete an off-campus research project. BASIS Scottsdale has over 70 extracurricular activities available, including sports teams, honor societies, and clubs.
Extracurricular activities give BASIS Scottsdale students time for enrichment, socialization, and other pursuits outside of the classroom. To enroll in or participate in extracurricular activities, students must first maintain a strong academic standing and good behavior.
