Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School

PVCICS, or Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School, is a public charter school in Hadley, Massachusetts. PVCICS, which was founded in February 2007, provides an immersion program in addition to a regular curriculum that teaches Chinese Language Arts and culture. PVCICS's goals are to graduate students who have excellent scholarships, high proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, and cultural sensitivity. The Pioneer Valley region is served by PVCICS.

Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School is the second-best Chinese Immersion school in Massachusetts. International Baccalaureate coursework and exams are available to students. Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School has a 100% IB participation rate. Minority enrollment is at 48% overall. Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School is the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter's only high school. PVCICS is an International Baccalaureate-accredited school that offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) to 11th and 12th-grade students.
