The Dutch multinational firm BE Semiconductor Industries N.V., or Besi for short, is in the business of creating and selling semiconductor tools. Richard Blickman, the current CEO, launched the company in May 1995. There are a total of 2040 employees[3] working for the company, with 200 of them located in Duiven, a tiny town in the east of the Netherlands where the company was founded. It uses factories in China and Malaysia for manufacturing. Besi is a publicly traded corporation with shares trading under the ticker symbol BESI on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange. Besi had a $5.6 billion valuation in 2021.
