With a market share of almost 58%, the business is the largest technology enterprise in Russia and the second largest search engine on the Russian Internet. Over 26% of the market in Turkey, 24% in Belarus, 23% in China, 18% in Uzbekistan, 17% in Tajikistan, 12% in North Korea, 5% in Kyrgyzstan, 4% in Kazakhstan, 2% in Ukraine, and 3% in Armenia use it as their primary search engine, behind only Google. It is the most popular search engine in Europe and the CIS countries, and it is second only to Google and Bing in terms of global market share. Major Russian market rivals include Google, VK, and Rambler.
