Bedër University
The sixth famous university in the top 10 best universities in Albania that Toplist would like to introduce to you is Bedër University. Bedër University (BU) (Albanian: Universiteti Hëna e Plotë) is a non-profit private university in Tirana, Albania. It was founded in 2011 by the Muslim Community of Albania, completing the education cycle that began with the reopening of the madrasas in 1991.
Bedër University is a coed university. It grants Bachelor's, Master's, and Professional Master's degrees in both English and Albanian. Two bachelor's programs are entirely in English. Beder signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Tirana on June 3, 2013. They have begun construction on their new campus in Sauk.
Bedër University's name is derived from the Arabic word Badr, which translates to "full moon," or it is named after the Battle of Badr. Universiteti Hëna e Plotë is the Albanian name. Ferdinand Gjana is the current rector of the university.
