Begging Bowl – Peckham

The Begging Bowl officially opened its doors in 2012, serving up heady, authentic Thai tastes sourced directly from Bangkok grocers, as well as fresh fish and meat from local vendors. The Begging Bowl has become a part of the community in Peckham, sitting on a prime corner plot with a magnificent open terrace, and they're happy to have established a pleasant, dynamic space where people come regularly to enjoy fantastic food and homely service.

When you visit the restaurant, you will be treated to colorful and complex flavors that balance the distinctive Thai taste pallet of hot, sour, sweet, and salty. In the kitchens, every detail is considered, and every component is made by hand. A "Kaffir Sour" with kaffir lime-infused gin created on-site with lemongrass, lime, and their own kaffir bitters and a "Thai Sabai" with lime, sugar, basil, basil bitters (also made on-site) and Mekong Thai Spirit are on the menu.
