Kiln – Soho

Kiln is the creation of chef and restaurateur Ben Chapman, who is also the man behind the popular Thai eatery Smoking Goat in Shoreditch. The menu here, like its sibling, focuses on stir-fried fries, curries, and barbecue foods cooked over open flames, emphasizing dishes from a grill, seafood, and clay pot. The menu is also updated on a regular basis, with the selection changing based on what produce is in season at the time. Kiln is open for lunch and supper, and dishes such as slow-grilled grilled chicken and soy, Tamworth pork belly curry with Kapi, and wild ginger and beef neck curry with Burmese roots can be found there

Kiln does not provide desserts, but it provides a wonderfully wonderful drink menu. Pair your meal with a glass of wine from Kiln's European-leaning wine selection, or try one of its house-made cocktails that experiment with fermentation and pickling. Competitive pricing on both drinks and food is another plus.
