Ben Rubinowitz
Ben Rubinowitz has established himself as a premier trial lawyer over the course of his 30-year legal career, combining hard work and dedication with exceptional courtroom skills and appearance. Mr. Rubinowitz started his career as a prosecutor, honing the trial abilities that would later become his trademark. Following that, he worked as a trial lawyer for badly injured plaintiffs in personal injury cases before joining GGCRBHS&M in 1989. He is the managing partner of the firm.
Mr. Rubinowitz has been listed in New York Magazine's "Best Lawyers in New York" article for the past 12 years and was recently selected "Best Lawyers, Lawyer of the Year." Ben is one of the few lawyers in the country to have been named "Lawyer of the Year" three times. He is one of ten GGCRBHS&M attorneys ranked in "The Best Lawyers in America," more than any other plaintiff's personal injury company in New York. Ben has been named to the New York Times' "Top 100" lawyers in the New York Metro region for the previous ten years, as determined by New York Super Lawyers. Ben was elected to the Inner Circle of Advocates, an elite group of lawyers. The Inner Circle of Advocates is limited to 100 members who are "lawyers of excellent character and integrity" as well as among the greatest plaintiffs attorneys in the country.
In cases involving car accidents, premises accidents, construction accidents, medical malpractice, civil rights violations, and products liability, Ben's thorough approach to case preparation and trial has resulted in 22 verdicts and over 150 settlements totaling over one million dollars. Mr. Rubinowitz is well-versed in the complexities of difficult topics. This, combined with his ability to put complex facts into understandable words for a jury, has made an unforgettable impact on those who have seen him in action, including defendants' medical experts whom he has cross-examined. Mr. Rubinowitz has successfully argued appeal matters before the Appellate Division and the State of New York's highest court, the Court of Appeals, in addition to his trial talents.
