The College's membership is limited to one percent of the country's attorneys.
After graduating from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1984, she joined the firm. Her previous background as a trained nurse has come in handy in her medical malpractice cases. A $12,682,500.00 jury verdict for the parents of a severely brain damaged boy whose twin died in utero; a $8,000,000.00 settlement on behalf of a brain damaged child whose delivery was delayed because physicians and nurses caring for his mother in labor did not recognize fetal distress; $5,000,000.00 settlement in a product liability case; numerous multi-million dollar settlements in brain-damaged baby cases; and a $3,000,000.00 compensation was reached for a baby who was born prematurely and had brain damage as a result of an infection in the newborn nursery.
Carol has represented a huge number of ladies who were not diagnosed with breast cancer in a timely manner. She has also dealt with cases concerning cervical cancer detection delays. She is one of New Jersey's top birth injury attorneys, specializing in cerebral palsy and brachial plexus injuries, in which the nerves controlling a child's shoulder and arm were severed during delivery. Carol is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the American Trial Lawyers Association, as well as the Essex, Morris, and New Jersey State Bar Associations. She is a member of the Supreme Court Board on Attorney Certification and the Board of Visitors of Seton Hall Law School.
