Bhojtal Lake
As a result of the numerous large lakes that Bhopal is home to, which are very important to the city, it is also known as the City of Lakes. Bhojtal Lake, often known as the Upper Lake, is one such noteworthy lake. Additionally, it goes by a native name that sounds similar to Bada Talab. The lake, which bears King Bhoj's name, is the best example of a man-made lake due to its size and is one of the main suppliers of water for agriculture and residential use. Visitors come from all over the world to Bhojtal Bhopal to enjoy the breathtaking vista of its shimmering water and to participate in a variety of water sports and activities on the lake's eastern shore.
The lower lake and Bhojtal Lake are separated from one another by the Pul Pukhta overpass, which is located to the west of Bhopal. It is built on the Kolans River and is situated close to CM House in Bhopal. The site is excellent since Kamla Park, a magnificent royal garden is close by and adds to the area's picturesque surroundings. Again, it is a great destination for thrill seekers and provides many options for water sports and entertaining activities. Bhojtal Bhopal is the ideal location for a reunion because of its boat club, aquarium, and walkway, all of which are accompanied by a nice breeze. The Maulvi Shah Ali Shah Dargah is also located near the lake.
